The work seen to the left is done by Mathiole via www.deviantart.com or http://mathiole.deviantart.com/, sorry I don’t know their  name, I just know their account. I really like their use of watercolor and how they used the “Wet into Wet” method to make the rain a brilliantly packed pop of color. The piece really seems to speak to me, as I love how the edges aren’t fully straight and have patches where the watercolor weren’t spread out evenly. Another thing I love about this piece is that they took an element of natutre that makes many sad, then transformed it into something someone would see as sunny and happy. Imperfection and watercolor are my two favorite things in art and this artist seemed to catch my eye. I hope to see more of their work in the future.
